Mix Forty Two

Mix Forty Two takes you into Christmas 2011 and is your funk-filled cracker. It features Alton McClain & Destiny and solo work from Philip Bailey for the first time, as well as Chic, Incognito, David Bendeth, T-Connection, Sister Sledge, George Duke, Prince and Donald Byrd who celebrated his 79th birthday recently. Forget the cheesy Christmas songs, get some funky & soulful grooves on.

Mix Twenty Nine

Mix Twenty Nine introduces no less than five newcomers into the funk family and sees the return of Patrice Rushen, Rick James and Donald Byrd. There's also a track from the late Teena Marie who sadly passed away recently. She was a very talented singer/songwriter and has left a legacy of some great music to be enjoyed by us all. Long live lady T.

Welcome to 2010 and welcome to VibeRide: Mix Eleven, our first show of a brand spanking new decade. Naturally we wanted to kick the decade off on the funky foot, so this show's packed with outrageously funky cuts spanning from the late sixties right up to the noughties.

Damn, has it really been three weeks since Mix Four? Time flies. Anyway, Mix Five is here and it's producing radioactive levels of funk. You better strap yourself to something before listening to this one because the groove is so deep you just may get sucked into a hyperfunk oblivion.

Mix Two

VibeRide's second mix is now available and with it comes a new presenter who sounds great and adds an extra something to the show. This means for the moment I can just get on with the 'technical' stuff rather than doing the presenting. That's not to say, however, that I won't be doing any further shows (who knows in this crazy world right?) Anyway enough of that, let's talk about the show.
